Not all prisons have bars. Some are built out of fear, doubt, shame, and the stories we tell ourselves. From the concrete walls of correctional facilities to the invisible walls of our own making, prison takes many forms.
This episode of Unchained: Prisons We Build, Keys We Hold draws the line between real prisons ~ the kind that strip away physical freedom ~ and the invisible prisons we walk into every day. Through some of my own stories, I share raw commentary on the parallels between incarceration and the self-imposed limits we carry in our minds, relationships, and lives.
I also dive into financial prisons: people living paycheck to paycheck, stuck in jobs they hate, or businesses cut off when banks pull the plug. That’s why I fell in love with crypto six years ago. Blockchain showed me a way to hold value that nobody else could control. It was a reminder that technology itself can be a key to freedom.
Freedom is fragile. If you’re stuck in a cycle that limits you ~ whether it’s a toxic relationship, a job that drains you, fear, or even your own beliefs ~ you’re already in prison. You don’t need bars for that.
So here’s my message to you: don’t build prisons for yourself, and don’t let anyone else build them for you. If you’re in one now, find the key. Unlock that door. Get out.
