About Kelly Ann Collins
Kelly Ann Collins began her career as an award-winning journalist, breaking stories and working as an editor at major news organizations.
Throughout her career, she has covered more than 1,000 celebrities and politicians, including Spike Lee, Clint Eastwood, the war in Kosovo, and two U.S. presidents. She even traveled on the GOP campaign trail one year with one of her media orgs, getting exclusive coverage (one story was picked up more than 600,000 times in one day).
One of the world’s first bloggers, she launched the first blog ever to receive White House press credentials and partnered with Google in its early days, helping to shape the digital media landscape from the ground up. Building on her newsroom roots, Kelly Ann transitioned into digital media and impact communications, working on projects involving global brands and leaders. As a part of that transition, she worked on the team that launched the first email newsletter that contained news stories (with HP and USA Today).
Since the early days of her career, her work has involved many companies, governments, NGOs, nonprofits and brands, including: Adobe, CDC, CNET, Canada, Capital One, Conservation International, Disney, HP, Huawei, Jamba Juice, Revolution (Steve Case), Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Peter Gabriel, Starbucks, TED-Ed, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Elders (Women In Front campaign), Twitter for Good, UNEP, UNDP, USAID, United Nations, World Bank, and more. Her work, applauded by Oprah Winfrey and Sir Richard Branson among others, has driven meaningful impact and amplified causes worldwide.
She also helped bring the United Nations online as part of the original launch team for the SDG Media Zone, and she has led teams on high-impact national health campaigns via White House, FDA and CDC-level initiatives, advancing communications that reached millions during critical public health efforts.
During the pandemic, she co-founded HomeCon, which partnered with Twitch, uniting more than 100 celebrities across 45 countries, raising ~$125,000 per event for nonprofits like First Responders First.
Today, Kelly Ann is the founder and executive director of Unstoppable Future Corporation, a nonprofit organization that drives impact through social good campaigns and initiatives like Women In Blockchain and Bitcoin.
She is also the founder of SheCrypto, a podcast, newsletter, and media platform amplifying important voices in blockchain while helping to educate women and girls on DeFi. Since 2021, the podcast episodes and SheCrypto content have reached millions.
In the Web3 world, she’s been named a “kickass” woman leading NFTs and Web3; partnered with Decentraland; teamed up with Unblocked, an NFT platform backed by Dapper, Jay-Z’s Marcy Ventures, Shawn Mendes, Oaktree Capital and more, to launch a women’s initiative; and she was named one of the top 10 metaverse influencers. She was also named a “leader of the pack” by Politico.
Kelly Ann founded Vult Cult (a Web3 education platform that was a part of her award-winning Vult Lab agency) and Into The Meta, the first news agency in the metaverse, to uplift the stories and voices of women and minoritized people in the NFT space. Her Vult Lab Launch Lab also helped brands (like Blockbuster) enter the metaverse and create wearables.
As a spokesperson for leading blockchain and crypto projects, she has been on the stage with audiences of more than 100,000 per session on Twitter/X Spaces, with some events topping one million listens.
Recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the Top 100 Female Founders, and honored by both the White House and the United Nations as a World Food Programme Ambassador for Good, Kelly Ann continues to pioneer digital spaces, harness emerging technologies, and shape the future. With degrees and certifications from MIT, Cornell, and West Virginia University, she has also mentored the next generation of innovators through programs at AWS, the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, and George Washington University’s Business School.
